Mountain Pack

$185.00

The mountain pack is full in body with a clear and distinct rough character. It starts with two white wines (SAUVIGNON BLANC SEMILLON & VERDELHO), a delighful medium rose (IN THE PINK)  then followed by a delicious red blend (CLARET ASH CABERNET MERLOT) and a bold shiraz (SYRAH SHIRAZ). Ending with a port style (JP SELECTION).

Claret Ash – Cabernet Merlot

Vintage: NV
Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon 71% & Merlot 29%
Alcohol: 12.7%
Tasting notes: This blend is a delicious, full bodied red wine with grippy but not overbearing tannins. Blackcurrants and black pepper dominate the palate with a touch of eucalyptus.
Food pairing: A good allrounder for BBQ’s when rich, meaty dishes and roasted vegetables are on the menu. The tannins in this wine will prepare the palate by cutting through any fattiness.

Syrah Shiraz

Vintage: 2025
Variety: Syrah/Shiraz
Alcohol: 13.5%
Tasting notes: The 2025 vintage is showing succulent black fruits with soft white pepper and a touch of spice and fine tannins. It is best described as a medium-bodied red and still elegant.
Food pairing: Best paired with richly spiced red meat or BBQ’s. Lashings of grilled or BBQ’s vegetables will also go down a treat with this wine.

JP Selection

Vintage: 1997
Alcohol: 19%
Variety: Blend
Tasting notes: Rich and layered aromas and flavours highlighted by whiskey overtones, oak, spice, butterscotch and much more. Take your time for the flavours to reveal themselves in this rare, aged, fortified wine (AKA Vintage port). This will continue to age if left in a cool, dry space out of the heat and light.
Food pairing: Sticky date pudding. Soft, blue cheeses.

Verdelho

Vintage: 2024
Variety: Verdelho
Alcohol: 12.8%
Tasting notes: Originating in Portugal, this grape varietal suites the Queensland environment. Flavours produced by this tank fermented wine are tropical, balanced acidity with a slightly spiced apricot finish to the palate.
Food pairing: Spicy Asian dishes (with lemon grass), scallops and prawns.

In The Pink

Vintage: NV
Variety: Verdelho/Syrah blend
Alcohol: 12.2%
Tasting notes: Flavours of strawberries and cream dance on the palate because of only three hours of skin contact after crushing (Syrah). The balanced tannins from the Syrah leave the finish pleasantly dry.
Food pairing: This wine is well suited to grilled seafood, fresh prawns of flaky white fish.

Semillon Sauvignon Blanc

Vintage: 2025
Variety: Sauvignon Blanc Semillon
Alcohol: 12.5%
Tasting notes: Vibrant palate with grassy and tropical flavours balanced by soft acidity which is typical of this classic blend.
Food pairing: Freshly shucked oysters, Thai curries or tangy goat’s cheese.
